YOUTH PROGRAMS & TOURS
The Southern Legislative Conference Youth Program provides supervision to conference registered youth between the ages of 6-17 through a robust Youth Program, including the Youth Activity Center and Youth Tours.Sign Up Now for Youth Program
Requirements for Participation:
- This program is for registered youth ages 6 - 17 years old.
- Parents/guardians cannot participate in this program.
- Youth must be checked in at the Youth Activity Center upon arrival at the Beau Rivage
- It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to communicate any allergies, dietary restrictions and/or special needs to staff upon youth check in.
- Youth must, at all times, wear their SLC badge.
Youth Activity Center Supervision:
The Youth Activity Center is a supervised location with hours of operation:
- Saturday, 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.
- Sunday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Monday, 8 a.m. - 11 p.m.
- Tuesday, 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.
A parent/guardian must check in/out children. All registered youth will be provided with breakfast each morning in the Youth Activity Center. Youth not attending tours will also receive lunch in this location. Youth attending tours will receive lunch on their tour. Dinner will be served on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday evenings as part of the Youth Program.
Youth attending any tour must check in first at the Youth Activity Center (Camellia Ballroom at the Beau Rivage) a minimum of 45 minutes before time of tour. Individual Youth Tour sign-up will be at Youth Program check-in.
Dolphin Encounter: Saturday, 12:30 p.m. - 4:45 p.m.
Get up close and personal with the animals of the Gulf Coast. At the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies, you'll meet Bo and Apollo, the institute's bottlenose dolphins. Get ready for an experience you won't soon forget!
Day of Discovery at Lynn Meadows: Sunday, 9:30 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.
At Lynn Meadows Discovery Center, youth will explore all 15,000 square feet of indoor exhibits and 7.5 acres of outdoor educational interactive hands-on exhibits. Enjoy face painting, arts and crafts, and outdoor games before bouncing the day away in bounce houses and inflatable waterslides. Try your hand at a game of laser tag or make a unique pinch pot with Ohr O'Keefe Museum of Art artists. We will have a picnic lunch and end the day with a grooving dance party!
*Lunch will be provided.
*Please bring a change of clothes and towel.
Sun, Sand, and Ship Island!: Monday, 10 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.
Send off summer in style! Lather on the sunscreen and join us as we take a cruise to Ship Island for a day at the beach! Often called the "Plymouth Rock" of the Gulf Coast, this is the spot many landed on American soil. We will explore the island's historic Fort Massachusetts and spend the day playing games on the beach.

ALLUSA!: Monday, 5:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Beau Rivage and DreamCast Entertainment present ALLUSA, a unique and inspiring Cirque-style show that takes you on a journey through the decades of American culture. Don't miss high-flying acrobatics, stunning costumes, and breathtaking visuals. If entertainment is what you're after, you're in the right place!
Play Big at Big Play: Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
We will play big at Big Play Entertainment Center, where you'll get the chance to enjoy the venue's arcade, bowling alley, bumper cars, and go-karts!

Tiki Night at the Beau Rivage: Tuesday, 6:15 p.m a.m. - 10 p.m.
While the adults are "Meeting at the Crossroads", the youth will be having a rollicking good time as they bid farewell, coastal style. We will enjoy a tropical dinner and dessert, and a movie under the stars!
*Dinner will be provided.
